Whole Food 🤍 Whole Heart

I've been baking since I was a child. Some of my favorite memories were made in the kitchen with my mom. Now I like to make memories in the kitchen with my own family.

I have five kids, and am a busy single mom. There is always something happening in my house. And I have lots of taste-testers to quality check my products.

Sharing my baked goods with you, is my way of sharing a piece of my heart. When someone bites into a treat and says, "wow. These are the best brownies I've ever tasted." Or "you should be selling these cookies" it gives me great joy to know they enjoy it! I always say, desserts ought to be amazingly delicious, and worth the calories! I don't sell anything that I don't think fits those descriptions. I really hope to make something that you'll love! ❤ 

Whole food is defined as, "as close to its natural state as possible."  I make and bake everything from scratch in my home kitchen. I use non-GMO flour, freshly ground spelt flour, and gfJules gluten free flours, free range eggs from my backyard chickens, grass-fed butter, pure vanilla and other extracts, (which I make myself,) raw cane sugar and organic ingredients when practical. 

In 2012, I made a life change to eating "real food" for my health and to better take care of my family. Because I love to bake, I learned to adapt recipes (and justify my sweet tooth cravings) knowing that something home-made is better than any highly processed product I'd find at the store. 

I'm not trying to purport that my treats are "health food," but you can feel better about getting something delicious, made from the highest quality ingredients, with no artificial preservatives, colors or flavors. At Whole Hearted Bakery you can feel good about your decision to indulge in a sweet treat.
